Chevy Silverado Cheyenne vs Ford F150 Tremor

This new Cheyenne concept will show off several high-performance options, not the least of which will be the 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8; Brembo ceramic brakes; a Borla exhaust; a lowered suspension; and 19-inch aluminums wheels with performance tires. Also, in order to give this truck the best power-to-weight ratio possible, Chevy replaced the bumpers, tailgate and inner bed liner with carbon fiber versions to save more than 200 pounds. That should put the short-bed sport-truck weight at just less than 4,500 pounds.

Looks like there is a battle that might be brewing in 2014/2015 in the performance single cab street truck market.

Just wondering what everyone though of the Silver Cheyenne vs the Tremor?

Looks interesting. Only thing is the Chevy is a truck with a street car engine where the ford is a truck with a truck engine.

I think that 6.2 engine is only used in the trucks/suvs.

Looks alright, great for the stock components..but I buy a truck because it looks like a truck. My .02 I would still like the tremor. That thing just looks HUGE up front..and then what happens? Aesthetics are just odd.

Truck specific intake and cams, and probably different heads than the cars too...

Based off of this and the Stingray, it looks like Chevy is finally pulling its head out of its @$$. Should be an interesting heads up between this, the 2wd Tremor, and the Ram R/T. Especially once they've been modded.

Maybe on product design but product stuffing their supply channels says they'll be bankrupt again soon. Can't wait.

Nice "concept truck"....now let's see what Chevy delivers. Carbon fiber on a truck? Nope, this is a truck not a Corvette! A batch of aftermarket enhancements? Unlikely, those could affect your warranty.... The "concept" SS454 truck was a far cry from what was delivered.....

The 6.2 is a good performer for Chevy. Loves to be blown (no pun intended). The problem I have with Chevy trucks is those damn square fenders. I just can't get past the looks.
