This is really cool. My truck has HD dual front shock absorbers? I think they mean dual valved cuz I certainly don't have four shocks up front.

Anybody know how to decipher the "build date" codes in Etis for a car still in production, to determine when it is supposed to be complete?

Only French wording on mine is on the energuide... aka epa section of it. I got mine while the service was still active.
I would imagine you send a PM to Mathieu and he will look after you.

Have you clicked on the FordEtis link? Lots of info on the vin, including spring codes, etc...

Just pm me your VIN, or order # and dealer info. And to answer you previous question, the window sticker will be in English.

I used the ETIS link, some specs were correct for my truck but several were wrong. Cab style, leather seats, and electric locking diff were wrong that I saw.

 

It is technically a European site, so the English is English not American English You will see things like "Double Cab" that describes a Screw. Make sure you entered the VIN correctly and that it didn't say 'Less' or (-) next to the items. It also won't take into account any changes the dealership or previous owners made.

If you find something better, feel free to offer it up here.

 

It appears Ford Europe may have locked down ETIS, dangit!

Ford decided to delete user access to the Window Sticker site UNLESS your truck is at a dealership. I recommend you save a PDF copy of that sticker when you but the vehicle. See post #8 for a friendly offer from Ford Canada.

I tried the etis link, but can only get a single line of info about my truck, can someone help with that too?

 

If you contact your local dealership - using your VIN they are able to provide you information on your build. As well as an OASIS report.

 

He hasn't been here in the past 4 years.

 

I know. I felt like it was taking them from other work. Who knows, they may get 10-20 of these every day. They should just release this on a website like it used to be.

 

@Rmondragon, Mathieu has not been on the forum in a very long time. His last post in this thread was in 2016 I believe. To my knowledge, Ford doesn't have any representation on this forum.
