Thanks a lot, bn! I didn't like my experience just shopping at Fairway either. I have never been to Gerald Jones, but think I will stop by soon. I really appreciate your input about your buying experience. A great dealer is almost as good as having a great product!

I know for the F150 we want, Lariat, max tow, 4x4, 3:33 or 3:73 differential, 36 gallon tank, etc. it'll be on up there in price, but me old bones need all the help getting in/out and driving that I can get nowadays. I plan to buy between this week and December. Yep, as some of y'all boys here know, I'm old and sloooooooow.... But, I'll git'er done. Y'all will be the first to know...

Your = Is that your truck? Possessive.
You're = You are. E.g., You're a nice old boy, and I like your truck.

Yup. I was paying almost $9k a year for my $225k/.25 acre/2000 sqft house in MA. Moved to Utah and pay $1300/year for a $335k/3300 sqft house. My monthly mortgage payment is the same once you factor in the Escrow payments and everything.

I got a 2016 XLT with 2.7L, 302A Equipment Group, tow package, and 3.55 E-Lock axle. Sticker was $46945.00. After rebates, but before my downpayment and taxes, price was $35,860.

This will be my first post. Also my first Ford and my first brand new vehicle purchase. Purchased on 5/10/16 after selling my 2006 Chev. Silverado with 134,500miles.

    MSRP was $52,175

    2.7 EB 4x4
    501a Package
    Moonroof
    3.55 w/ E-Locker

    Silver w/ Grey Leather
    Tailgate step

$45,005 out the door ($43,991 + fee and tax)

Drove to Charlotte (Town&Country Ford) to save $3,000 over local offerings with less options

2016 Platinum with 3.5 EB, 701a, max tow package, spray in liner, fully loaded. MSRP was $64.000 (was not an even number, don't remember the details).
Rolled off the lot for $56.something, so that makes it pretax about 50ish
What dealership and who was your salesman?
