Problem resolved. Don’t know if I had the diaphragms bedded wrong or if the caps weren’t tight enough. But they work now.
Gonna swap the TS WGs back on and see what changes.
PS: TS IWG-75 waste gates with 7# springs crack at 7.5psi and fully extend by 17psi.

Question: 'Gucci Build', is this a truck or a handbag?
14 FX4 Ext, 3.5l Ecoboost, SuperChips Dashpaq
This truck was a huge upgrade and super flashy compared to what I'm used to. Big, fast, athletic, black, flashy, and always strapped(or 3). Also occasionally smells like his 'cologne'. Seemed like the most fitting name I could think of.
Swapped the TurboSmart wastegates back in before lunch yesterday. Seems like a slight improvement in boost control/ steadiness, which makes sense. Took logs but haven't reviewed yet.
Question for anybody and everybody... The sensor below is a MAP sensor? Meaning it reads pressure and not air flow?
Would this also mean that the sensor it not 'directional'? Meaning, can I install it backwards or sideways as long as its sealed within the tube?
If I could install it sideways that would really simplify things...
FYI that adapter plate is from S&B, part #s in pic if it helps anybody.
Or do I have it backwards, and the early models are an actual MAF, meaning I'm SOL?
That looks a lot like a MAF sensor to me and I'm 95% sure the 2011 were MAF and not MAP. My 2013 doesn't have that style sensor.
2012 4x4 Lariat 3.5 || 3.73 with e-locker || Full Race Turbos || Full Race Downpipes || CRP Manifolds || AFE Stage II Intake || AFE Charge Pipe || CPE Intercooler || Tubrosmart BOV || Retrofit Headlights || Tifosi Performance Special Touch || "Secret Sauce" Tuned || MSD Blaster Coil || Racho RS9000XL Rear Shocks || Fox 2.0 Coilovers || Morimoto LED Fogs || More to come
This is what I could find
The new AFE Power intake for the 2012 EB says this:
"Manifold Air Pressure Sensor – In 2012 Ford began using a Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor instead of a Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF). This intake is designed specifically to be used with the factory MAP sensor. "
So the stock shocks have 160k miles on them and have been shot for a long while. I've needed replacements but they're pricey for crap oem shocks, so I started compiling some parts.
Oops! Are those not stock?...
