    Mr B's build (3 years & counting)

Well finally decided to make a build thread. Just makes it easier when referencing to what I've done. I'll try to put it in order that I did things but will pretty close (I think) lol. will try two post a few things a day

Well first thing I did was put floor mats in, I choose Rugged Ridge decause it keeps all the water within the floor mat and not onto the sill plate and carpet like some other "known popular manufacture" does

Then I decided to get a Door Sill Applique from ford so I wouldn't scratch the paint with my shoes or what ever

Next I wanted a new cover. This one came with the truck. I hated the one piece cover. I had to take off the cover every time I wanted to haul something tall. Was just a PITA. So I got a Retrax Pro. I didn't want a rope to pull on and I wanted to put it (stopped) any where I wanted. This one has ballbearings and is smooth to slide back and forth.

This was actually my second post redone lol.
Well next I got a arm rest. I had Carple tunnel in both hands a while back and these things are priceless if you know what I'm talking about. Long trips were no problem. I have now had both hands operated on and no more pain or falling asleep (arm). But even afterwords your arm is level with steering wheel and sits comfortable.

Ok now next I put factory rear wheel well liners in, self explanatory why.
Install was easy, especially with tires removed

Thanks Bruce, Gary, Clark for the comments. Now the prices in the links that I give are not what I paid it just for reference, use goggle or whatever to find the best prices. Eh my undercarriage was pretty clean then, I had a input leaking plus on the way up to Michigan I had a air compressor on its side in back and leaked oil to the front of cab then cam out from underneath and the whole bottom was oil soaked (spare tire also)so I pressure washed everything really good about that time. But I do keep in clean.

Next came the diferential cover. I mainly wanted a cover with sight glass in order to see the oil level, I can't stand not knowing what the oil level is. LOL. Plus in can change oil very easily. There are other covers out there that are cheaper and do the same thing but liked this one because of cooling fins and two mag pickups and of course looks Here is the thread of the install and along with the thread is the input seal leaking problem that the stealership tried to hose me on and how I got out of paying for it myself.

Then onto to shocks. Went with Bilsteins 5100's in front and back. Had a local repair (tire) shop install the front. I only went with 2nd notch on front. Wanted to keep some rake in. Love them! Drives so much better over bumps and overall ride is better
