I was under the impression that he got all of those from companies designed and manufactured them.

Did he invent the ecoboost as well?

    LOL, you're a riot.

He does work with the best in the business to get parts that are built to his design. I never claimed he manufactured them...just that they are to his specs.

You didn't answer my question, just deflected...

I think he took the measurements and stuff for them based on what he saw with the engines and then had them manufacturer to spec?

Yup, pretty much my understanding. I've read in his thread cases where he was heavily involved in development and worked with a Manufacturer to build something that is "proprietary" to RMB. Other cases, he provided his input and those changes made it into products that are sold to everyone.

He's a true engine builder and seems to put a great effort into R&D and improving the platform. I work for a manufacturer and am pretty heavily involved in the development and product side. I can honestly say that we don't even see the tip of the ice berg with Ryan on what's going on behind the scenes. The amount of time and effort, is mind-blowing.

Look at it any way you choose, but the piston and rings in my build were absolutely specified down to the minute detail based on reasoning. They don't have a part number that's listed in some catalog.
My valve springs were absolutely 1-offs as a result of some fairly extravagant testing on some weird machinery that took considerable effort and TIME. (Time is incredibly finite resource)

My valves are very specific and not in an ordinary build. (thus the valve spring investment)
My Billet crank was quite the journey in development efforts.

I could continue, but you get the point.

I can't and won't defend every single criticism, mostly because it's not going to make a bit of difference with some percentage of detractors. But it's quite a reach to imply that there's no differentiation between engine builders and/or the whole thing is just smoke and mirrors.

I'm glad that I'm on the customer end of this industry. I'd never consider being the supplier side. Lol

EDIT: and 4.2 Stroker Cranks, Billet 3.5 Cranks, Spec King Bearings....man it's a long list!
@TX-Ripper, I'm still waiting for you to back up your claims.

Interesting, you can't be bothered to type one thing to back up your statements, and yet you ask others too?

Full race is a vendor that should be held to a higher standard. The second they said that the 2013-2018 turbos were exactly the same I questioned it too.
