Anyone run the magnaflow catback or 12249 muffler

I did search and found a thread where a member from 2015 ran the 12249 on his tremor, last activity here was 2015 lol.

Anyways I am unsure what muffler I should run. 12249 or the 12279. I am pretty sure the 12579 is going to sound just like stock or extremely close.

Right now I am leaning towards the 12279 for some additional volume over stock without being too loud. Not sure if its going to require a 3" resonator or not. I don't mind hearing the engine a bit when you get on the gas just don't feel like having it buzz or rasp and no drone while cruising.

Just wanted to check how people find the volume on the magnaflow system as that runs the 18" long muffler similar to the 12249.

    Thanks,
    Schyler

It will buzz without a resonator. Don't waste your money IMO. No power gain to be had. been there done that.

Best I can find, this is the 18" version of the muffler. No idea on the owners downpipe setup or resonator.

    - Start up, shows muffler

    - Start up with revs

    - drive around

Might be a touch too loud if that is all stock downpipe and resonator, so that would lead me to using a 12279 the 24" case length.

Impossible to find good info on stuff, minus the magnaflow thread in here. But half the videos don't seem to work any longer from Ryan showing the 12579 muffler.
