I am so happy with my posi quite ceramic based pads. There is so little brake dust compared to stock, it is incredible. And what brake dust there is, is not all brown and nasty looking. This is the best benefit.

Im thinking the lack of life is due to my caliper pins being gummed up and stuck. Can't fault the powerstops for ****ty grease in the calipers.

When i put my new claipers on, the grease coming out of the pins was clear. I researched it and If you look it up, Motorcraft pin grease is the same thing used as DI-electric grease.

BTW, did you have the "heavy duty" Z36 pads?

Snow tires installed today. Front Raybestos Police rotors and OEX pads look new. No brake dust build up in slots of pads. No outer ridge on rotors. Some rust spots. Minimal brake dust. Rear pads still have about 1/4 life left so I will not be changing rotors/pads at this time. I will check in the spring. Fronts feel the same as when first installed. Good modulation and grip. Not touchy. Just firm steady braking.

Turns out it was a frozen pin on each caliper. Left top pin right bottom pin. Both worn the same amount on the inside pads. (less than 1/16" left) out side pads only worn down maybe 1/16"). Power stop rotors being turned as I type.
