    305x55R20 Rubbing Problem Solved

Wanted to post up on how I spread my crash bars without buying a Porta Power and using only one time. I used an old fashion jack and 2x4. Truck - 2015 F150 4x4 Supercrew with 1.5' level. Wheels - Fuel Coupler 20x9 with +1 offset. Tires - Toyo RT 305x55r20. I left the jack in place on each wheel for about 30 minutes, then shimmed the gap with washer to hold in place. Problem solved without cutting off this safety feature

Yeah, I'm with @Dworth on this one.

You "solved" your rubbing problem for the time being...wondering what lasting effects this will have on your truck (if you keep it long enough to find out)

Aren't there things (body panel brackets and such) that mount to the crash bars? Wouldn't this distort the fitment of those???

I would think so. The panel lines won't match up very well.

In all seriousness, I wouldn’t tell someone I actually did that.

When your truck rubs real hard on those things you end up doing whatever it takes. I just pulled them out, “cut the bolt” cause it would stop my truck at full turn but wouldn’t rub on anything else under there.
