    Auto stop and turbos

I havenít experienced an issue but hereís my thoughts.

Iíve been in the trucking industry for 20+ years. And when driving highway speeds and you stop for fuel you always idle to allow the turbo to cool down.

With our ecoboosts and the auto stop feature how many of you disable it like I do to prevent the hot turbo from cooking at a stop light on an interstate exit?

Any others think the way I do?

coking is not a problem with the ecoboosts, they use water cooled turbos and there is a small electric coolant pump to keep it circulating

I was aware of the water cooled turbos and the fact that thermosiphoning would keep it circulating after a shut down, but I did not know there was an electronic pump. Awesome!

Is this why the heater on my truck is so fast to heat up? In every car I've ever had before it's taken several minutes of driving to get some warm air flowing. In my truck it seems like it's warming up the cabin by the time I reach the end of my street. Love it!

I wonder the same thing in my '14 Ecoboost, my driveway is a bit over 1/4 of a mile and usually there is warm air before I get to the road.
