    Whine at any speed

So I got a 2014 f150 and am getting a grinding whine from what sounds like the driveline the sound increases with speed coasting or on the gas dont change it ...I have put new u joints in took the rear diff cover off and looked at the pinion it looks to be good no more slop that it should checked transfer case fluid and still cant pin point the source......I also want to mention it is the same in 4x4 or 2wheel drive ...I took the drivline off at the end of my dirt driveway and drove it to the house in 4 wheel drive without the driveline installed and no noise ...so could it be a bent or out of balance drivline ? Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for suggestions..

If it didn't make the noise with the driveshaft off and in 4wd only using the FWD, then yes, i'd suspect the driveshaft, since the rear wheels had to be turning, process of elimination. And that's if i'm understanding correctly what you've done to eliminate the noise.
