Thanks I just took it to a car wash and had the underbody washed and rust stuff put on it but I went and bought some permatex rust treatment That is supposed to act like a light surface rust remover to where you spray it and it eats the rust and then it turns black and forms a primer, then you just paint over it and donít worry about the rust anymore

Holly crap... You never went on the beach?? Wow....

I live in WA state and have been to our beaches multiple times where we can drive on the sand... I stick only to the sand, and don't go wheeling or anything, but I don't have any of that kind of surface rust after wards.. I am trying to get to my photobucket account to post a pic, but they are being dicks about it....

Anyway, sorry to see that, but that can't be 'normal'...

Ps. Parking a vehicle on damp grass is the worst thing for it. So much moisture and humidity. But not enough to do that overnight.

Looks like a mild amount of surface rust to me, If it were mine I would clean it real well, rough it up with a wire brush and paint it with rust converter.
