Like ones who buy a K&N intake and believe that they gained 3+ mpgs according to their lie-o-meter.

You dont even need the filter, just adding the sticker makes 20 HP. 30HP if you put it on the back window.

Not to debate/argue this thread (Tune is superior to CAI), but to blindly listen to the thread geezers just cuz they say so is just as bad as installing a CAI over a tune after clear evidence indicates it to be less effective. Forum post count does not equal qualified experience or extra knowledge.

Why join a forum if you don't want to gain knowledge from people who have done it already? You dont have to blindly listen to anyone about this subject. It has been debated exhaustively on this site and others. Just use the search function and you will find hours of bathroom reading material.

Do you want to know how much I care about my "post count"?? About as much hp an aftermarket CAI gets you. Go ahead, I've been on here for a long time and I've seen dyno charts and heard first hand experience from more knowledgeable people than me on this issue. Do you want to know WHY I keep telling all these noobs (or low post count members) why a CAI is a waste of money? The proof is in the pudding...

...I've even HIGHLIGHTED the area to pay very close attention to. This is from a well known tuning company. Do you think they skewed their numbers???

I bought my 2015 with a K&N CAI and an MBRP 4" exhaust installed, and I can personally vouch for.... getting "What did that old dude do to that poor truck?" looks whenever I hit the throttle near anyone within earshot. Seriously, I'm leaving both on for now, but as soon as I have the $$$ to change them back to stock (or at least something quieter), I'm doing it.

Thank you for your first-hand experience and thoughts with both exhaust and an intake.

I am not arguing the observation, I am pointing out the attitude in some of these responses. Seems like there is more posing and vanity here than a red carpet event.
