"STi's are not fast"...dumbest statement ever.

Tune, downpipe, and pump Ethanol (less than $1000) and they will outrun just about any modded F150 short of turbo upgraded ones...even then...

Every STI I have met up here in CO could not keep up. I have the auto octane BCB tune and an intercooler. Some of them were definitely modded. Dunno if the commonality is they all were bad drivers???
And we have two E85 stations around here so there is a high possibility of them running corn.

Stock STi's do mid to low 13's at 100mph.

The stock turbo record (modified) is 10.9 @ 117mph.

So anything else is in-between. Just saying...not slow for even stock turbo engines. Mid to low 12's on a mild setup are common.

And a bone stock 2017 crew cab ran a 13.75 at 99.97. Think about that. A 5000 lb aerodynamic brick ran as fast as a 3400 lb go-kart.

We don't know what a newer F150 could do with full bolt-ons, fuel upgrades for E85, and hero tune that pushes the limits but I bet its damn fast. And I bet that 10.9 STI's turbo was begging for mercy.

I understand, I mean, I own both cars. Just to say "STi's are not fast" is not based in facts. They can be some of the fastest street cars out there bottom line, and are fast even with a stock turbo.

Here is my 440whp 450wtq slow STi getting on two wheels. My "tuned" F150 doesnt stand a chance at any speed or anywhere on the street or track. Its just a different ballgame.

Just to support the AWD love, I have a Mazdaspeed 6 with 350-380awhp.
By today's standards, they are also "slow" when stock.

    155 HP.
    At the crank, no less!

But, only about 2100lbs. (without me in it)

Ain't nearly as fast as my truck.
But no way can that truck keep up OR dance with it if it's time to Tango.

They both deliver big grins though.
