I see several tuners/performance shops offering a 170* degree thermostat in there "package deals". Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? I’m assuming it’s a lower temp then stock.....

Thanks for the info Mike, makes perfect sense. I know these tuners are squeezing as much timing possible into these motors and I’m sure the cooler temps help with detonation.
