2011 f150 ecoboost. when im turning the wheel going forward or reverse im getting loud noise in the rear end. I just replaced the differential clutches and the carrier housing bearings. went for a test drive and noise is still there. the gears looked fine to me. i didnt replace the axle bearings figured they would be making lots of noise driving straight not when turning. Any thoughts?

Add more friction modifier? Did you soak the clutches before installation?

Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the fluid soak through the clutch plates and make them work as they should. Since it only happens when turning, I would give it a bit more time to settle. It’s suggested by some that presoaking the clutches in modifier keeps this from happening.
