Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the exhaust on my truck.
So last week and friend and I both got new cat back exhaust systems he has a V8 tundra with true duel flowmasters. Love the sound. Me on the other hand I got a 4" pipe from my cat to a muffler that I was told was the exact same thing as a magnaflow muffler. It's called a thunderbolt. I hate it, hate the sound, it sounds like a v6 Honda Accord.
I wanted to get yalls option on removing the new muffler and replacing it with a straight pipe. So it would be a 4" straight pipe from the cat to the tip. Also before welding on a straight pipe on if I do, if I cut the muffler off will the noise coming from the end that was cut, be the same as the noise at the tip once the muffler is replaced with the straight pipe piece?
