Looking to add a sub to my 2014 XLT Supercrew. I'd like to keep the stock radio. I've read several things about getting a line out converter and tapping the rear speakers.
Anyone have any experience in this area and know what I'd need to buy? Considering buying a powered bazooka sub also to make it easier.

Kicker makes (or made) plug and play sub kits for your truck. Some of these were also sold by Ford with Ford part numbers.

Do a Google search for "Kicker F150 upgrade 2014" or something similar, you'll get a good number of results to start from.

Do not tap the rears. That signal is bandpassed. Front signal is full range but bass is attenuated to protect the crappy oem speakers. Need some type of bass restoration unit.
