Are you running stock waste gates right now? Nothing different with the springs?

And what springs are you planning for the TS's?

And what gauges are using? And lights?

Oh oh and what kind of body work?
Right now, I'm running the WG's off of my GT turbo's. So basically stock and set to 7psi cracking pressure.

With the TurboSmart WG's, they were ordered with 14psi springs (2x7psi) springs. I will first try with the 14psi springs and set a lowpreload (probably 5ish PSI). If that seems wonky, I'll go to the 7psi spring and adjust accordingly. I'm hoping to run about 21.5psi of boost.

For gauges, I went with Autometer "Cobalt" series. It a Fuel Pressure gauge for the low side (up to 100psi) and boost/vac gauge. I'll be mounting them in the A-pillar with a pillar mount. Honestly, I'l not a huge fan of the pillar mount, but haven't seen another option that I really like for two gauges. If I were just running one, I probably would do the steering counsel mount.

Body work is just fixing up the paint chips on the rear quarter panel. When the guy hit the bumper, it pushed the bumper into the box. Minor damage, but I need it fixed. They are also installing the ADD rear bumper at the same time.

I bought some knock-off flush mount lights to install in the rear bumper once I get the truck back. I'll hook them up to the reverse light and my aux switches. Obviously, I'll run a Diode so that it doesn't back-feed.

Wow.

So I just want you to know THIS thread was the one I have made the effort to "catch up" on first! (Since October, I think?)

I have the biggest grin on my face.

"a gentleman's build" :)

I love it! The whole concept and choices made. Fantastic!

Thanks man!

I'll be moseying over to catch up on the Platinum White Build promptly!

Not to hijack, but it DID leave the bodyshop? :)

(I bet hijacking percentages dropped by 75% with me absent?)

It's home but nothing has happened since then. We'll catch up in that thread or elsewhere...

Thank you very much Sir! More to come as soon as I get the truck back and it warms up a bit.

Oh and heavier weight springs ordered up for the coil-overs. Extra weight of the winch, mount and Skid Plate needs to be off-set.

I'm a Dumbass. I ordered a 2 5/8" fuel Pressure gauge instead of the standard 2 1/16". Returning this one and correct one ordered. I was all distracted as this one was a good price and had a warning light and peak recall.

Got some stuff done last night and tonight

Tonneau cover back on
BuiltRightIndustries racks back in
Crap mounted back on them
Fluid and fastener check
PTM F150 emblems swapped (I had the shop properly paint a set in Blue Flame)
Waste Gates installed (pic of my beautiful adaptor plate, lol

I hope to get my rear diff fluid changed and Spicer cover on tomorrow. We’ll see how it goes, I still have to finish rebuilding a sled motor and get it installed before I hit the road 6am on Saturday.

I had a great road trip back home to do some sledding and visit with Friends and family. Roughly 1900 miles round trip.

The truck was awesome overall. I do seem to have a issue that I hope I've narrowed down to the EVAP system. It's acting like a vacuum leak, with the WasteGate's hyper cycling under a certain load. Does it on the stock tune as well. I'll have to cap off the Evap connections and to some quick testing to verify.

The goal is to get the issue nailed down and sorted out, Gauges installed, reverse lights in the rear bumper, Rear Diff fluid/cover change and then it's just waiting for it to warm up before data-logging commences.
