I have a new 2019 3.5 which I'm getting ready to change the oil for the first time.
I read today that Ford went back to an aluminum oil pan and regular drain plug on this engine.
Can anyone confirm this? Just want to be ready when I crawl under there.

I have a 2018 3.5EB and mine is one of the ones that's metal and metal. Couldn't comment on the 2019s.

Welp...I was unaware they used those.

Based on how long ago this was posted....there has been plenty of time to just look under the truck.

I have the fisher price one on my early 2018. No issues thus far and it is the cats meow to change the oil with the twist and shout plug.
