Me too!
Me too!Certainly give it some time to make sure you're OAR has had time to adjust. I'm looking forward to seeing how it does on the track.
That's exactly how I felt with the GH tune. And the KR always went into the 5-6's under full throttle.well, debated posting but I am going to any ways..... the GH tunes are in and I am not overly impressed at all..... Its not much more of a difference over the stock tune actually... although the Trans performance is greatly improved, it drives nice and the truck has no lag, which is better than the stock tune and the turn around/customer service was amazing, as always.
I unloaded the GH tune and did some hits with stock tune... did the same with loaded GH tunes again.... I will say it is stronger than stock.... but not what I would have expected given my 2015 and how it ran..... I guess the track will be the true sign....... will get there in the next couple of weeks
Funny you mention a possible difference between 18 and 19 factory tunes. I drove a few 18 Raptors before buying my 19 King Ranch. I bought the Ranch because in Sport mode aka: Raptor Mode, it felt just as fast and responsive as the Raptor and it sounded better than the Raptor with my foot in it. Still does. Only diff to me, was suspension. May also explain why my fuel mileage is so poor.I'm not sure there would be any appreciable difference between my 18 and your 19?
So that would be a very odd and unexpected conclusion. Unless the tune isn't the same. Mine might be different than the emailed tune since it was tweaked on Matt's dyno. But "tweaked" would be the appropriate word.
Or to put it another way, it's hard to hide nearly a 100HP?
The only other explanation is that perhaps Ford has adjusted the stock tune on the 19's?But wouldn't they be bragging about an increase in performance?
The final thought would be that the GearHead tune, in my opinion, is far less "dramatic" in how it puts the power down than my 5* tune(s). Although the peak power numbers are not really much different, the personality IS very different. I would even be willing to say the "Fun factor" is more pronounced in the 5* tunes. Kinda hooligan, if you will.
Regardless, that's quite an unexpected response for any of the tunes from any of the known tuners these days. Even canned tunes are now mature for Gen2 and folks report them as substantial.
These newer trucks are crazy performance machines. Are we getting jaded? Lol

I will throw the canned tune in after some additional seat time with this tune.....Should throw one of them canned tunes on just to see if there's a significant difference.

^ completely agree and you all know I am a huge GH supporter, my GH 2015 tune was amazing and fared well at the track..... But maybe my expectations where more (higher) or maybe the 19's are tuned that well from the factory, but there wasn't that much of a difference in "seat of my pants" feeling over when the truck was running the stock tune vs. the GH tune when the foot was in it...I'm not sure there would be any appreciable difference between my 18 and your 19?

More seat time, better fuel and the track..... And I will go from there

I'm definitely interested in hearing your thoughts between the twoI will throw the canned tune in after some additional seat time with this tune.....
Even my adaptive tune running 87 in my tank on my 19 was a pretty big noticeable difference.^ completely agree and you all know I am a huge GH supporter, my GH 2015 tune was amazing and fared well at the track.....
