If you went down to a 30.4” tire like I have you would lose some of that height.
I am gonna pick up some 2wd front struts one of these days and grab a 2” lowering bracket for the back and that’ll be a perfect look.
If you went down to a 30.4” tire like I have you would lose some of that height. With little kids and older parents, the steps are now mandatory for me. Some of them still say too high, which is one reason why I ran/will continue running as close to stock height as possible.
But that may cost more than leaving it all alone. So does lowering the truck a few inches. 😁

I think these trucks look much better with them off but as others have mentioned they are great for protection, not only rocks when driving down the road but parking lot from car doors. With my 6 inch lift when I took mine off and tested it out before installing my AMPs it was a little stretch but I was able to get in, my daughter though forget it, my wife has longer legs then I do so she hopped right and also. The wife actually likes the truck with the steps off....... What do you all think, steps on or off?

Now the AMP research steps, best of both worldsand when I'm in tight parking lots I just keep them in the down position.
