In Forscan there is a "reset adaptive tables", or something similar. It's a single step procedure. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly where it is.

At the very top for the PCM there's a procedure called clear adaptive transmission tables.
Run it.

If you take the battery disconnect method, I'd do it overnight. Longer times period.
That would accomplish a KAM reset, transmission adaptive tables, battery management system, TCU and Gateway modules.....
Basically a soft/hard reset to its birthday.
And I don't believe there's anything to fear personally. Just know that it might behave a little confused for a while, no differently than it did on mile #1 the first time.
