I am new to the ecoboost world and have searched a few forums for answers. Here goes the story...
This 3.5L engine seems to spin incredibly fast when starting up, but it takes longer to start that my 95 lincoln town car (4.6L V8) that I start once a month. This only happens on cold starts, witch it makes to start take a little more time to start cold, but sometimes it cranks for 2.2 seconds before firing. Its always fine once its warm.
Does anyone know how long it should take? Is there some kind of secret ford spec that only one guy knows about that will chime in and make my worries disappear?
Truck was built 17-JUL-2017. This is video of average start, it's about 40 degF. Some are longer, some shorter...
