When you say "rated for 1800lbs of tongue weight", I'm sure you mean 1800lbs of Cargo Capacity?

Because YOU are part of the Cargo Capacity and you ain't sitting on the bumper hitch while you are driving. :)

Correct. So we want the tongue weight about mid range so the two pf us and some gear keep is well within range. I'm understanding the tongue weight and cargo equal load capacity.

CCC - Cargo Carrying Capacity is on the yellow sticker on driver's door or door jamb. Yes, tongue weight is cargo.

Having driven a HDPP 157" F150 as a work truck and owning a 2016 Max tow 157" wheelbase (not HDPP), there is no way I would consider an 11k lb trailer with either unless it had a boat on it. A box on wheels with that weight has a SuperDuty requirement in a tow vehicle. As others have mentioned, the F250 (or 350) with the 7.3l gas V8 would be perfect.
