Here's a project I've been working on, and has been attempted by others. Gen1 V-band flanges to get rid of the bolted nonsense that Ford engineered. As any mechanic will tell you, studs can be quite the pain to deal with, especially on high mileage vehicles.
These measure out to 12.7% larger than stock flanges and even 2% larger than most aftermarket ones, eclipsed only by the AMS flanges. The benefit comes from the flange itself, making for a convenient maintenance part.
EDIT: for clarity
The flanges themselves are one piece, machined from 4140 currently, as stainless is costly.
