Anyone have pics of their f150 with a 4 inch suspension lift installed?

Ummmmm, you look at em long enough and you can just tell.

Heck, there's guys on here that can spot the tiniest deviation from oem. It's amazing

Well, one thing to look for is the absence of rake. If you practice looking at stock trucks, for sure Fords, they come with considerable rake.

So when it looks like tire-fender gap is close to same on front AND rear, somethings up!

(unless truck has substantial cargo in bed)

Rake never really bothered me personally, but it drives lots of fellas nuts! They can't live with it.

My 18 is lifted, but NOT because that was the intention. I just wanted high quality shocks and by their very nature are designed to "lift" the front (normally around 2-2½") to " correct" the rake.

Notice the level. Which is actually lifting of the front. (shown with 20's & 22's, depending on truck mission)

Oh, so a 4" lift would be any truck that looks level (wheel gap = front/rear) like above, BUT with a couple MORE inches of gap between tire fender.

And of course, anything with more than a 4" level is going to be obvious. Even to grandma.

I like the look of the factory rake on these trucks (I don't on all trucks). It's also functional if you tow, of course.

Personally I want to raise my truck the same amount front and rear. I'm thinking of going up 2" and keeping the stock size tire. IMO there needs to be a certain amount of space between the top of the tire and the fender, and stock has that gap too close. I hate when guys stuff the largest tire they can in the wheel well, then act all proud of their 35s. Looks off to me.

Honestly, in my opinion, and please don't get me with your six gun (lol), your truck looks better in the top picture. Tires, wheels, everything. We all like a little something different though!

I won't shoot you for being right! :)

As for aesthetics, I MUCH prefer the look of truck tires on a truck. I also love the OEM King Ranch rims. They look like part of the truck. Far more stealthy and oem looking.

So those are the tires that go on when the truck is being a truck. (They'll go back on for the summer shortly since it'll be towing cross country)

But the Limited rims with street tires are the city-slicker tools for when the truck is really just a passenger vehicle. (that's just "cover" for go-carting in a truck)

Few folks probably would go through the trouble and effort to make the switch back and forth. But it's like having 2 very different trucks.

I like both trucks.
(I paid 50% for each. Excellent deal!)

That last part is what I was about to say. I'm far too busy (and broke) to be swapping wheels and tires around! If I lived up North I guess it would be a necessity.

Just a play on words.
Whatever the truck cost, I only paid for it once.

But can TRANSFORM the truck with very contrasting shoes. (and tunes and suspension settings)

So it's like having 2 trucks for the price of one. See?
