Pretty cool, now let’s see what it puts down on a independent Dyno, how fast it goes down the track( I hear that’s important to some folks) and how longs it stays together.

Gen 2 :)

this is why I keep pointing out people are wasting money on the gen 1s.

Track time is coming soon, they'll be posting the numbers.

Yeah it's pretty nuts, no one is touching that with a fully built, bolt on gen 1

I can't imagine that bottom end holding on for too long with that torque spike over 600
We shall see,
there's already multiple people who've been running that tune and going hard.

I was running “E30” 5 star tune which is 91OCTANE and 11 gallons of E85 in a 36 gallon tank. Didn’t notice much of a hp difference. Mpg went down a little.

I'm at a 5 seconds 0-60 in 2 wheel drive running their e30 tune in my 2017 2.7 crew cab 3.15 gears, heading to the track this next month, as long as I get traction I definitely should be in the 12's.

WOT from a stop off idle without power braking or boost launching, it makes me giddy lol:

Insane difference from a 91 performance tune.

And as you can see in that wot video I'm still getting very good milage

Ditto... or twisting a driveshaft apart.
Considering there's quite a bit of supercharged f150 5.0's out there pushing those numbers with no issues in that regards I think that will be the least of the concerns

Yeah and that's nothing compared to an na engine. That's exactly why I pretty much have to own an ecoboost, that elevation and higher is where I tow, and I'm done with diesel so has to be gasser turbos.

I just got back this afternoon from around 9k foot elevation and its effects are felt even empty, towing nothing. Of course not even half as crappy as an na V8.

I'd actually love to get a 2019 f150 5.0 next year but it would suck ass towing where I do... Unfortunately.
For those that haven't seen it. Obviously not the e50 tune, but that ecoboost is a turd at elevation.

I was in Denver in February with my truck right before the blower went on and it was a noticeable hit.

i would have preferred a lower gear like a 3.73.

But wasn’t bad enough for me to think: why did I buy this pos.

much of my displeasure came from the crappy 91 octane.

Once again, the right tool for the job would be a 2018+ 3.5 ecoboost.

But 91 should behave like a higher octane at elevation.

550hp? It's already been done. Interested to see what comes along with the dulel fueling.
I think grim’s truck is the closest and made 600tq But nowhere near hp.

i guess we are pointing out that the gen 2 2018 has the turbo and fuel from the factory that people are chasing with thousands of dollars vs stock trucks.
