Has anyone changed out their grill for an aftermarket one? I"ve been kicking the idea around about getting changing to a different grill.

When these grilles are painted to match the truck, they look sweet!

That is sweeeet and makes me want to paint my grill black. I should be able to do that bit of painting myself. The lower front mesh screen...wondering if the ecoboost needs that space to be open or whether a mesh screen would be fine (the picture is not of an ecoboost, is it?).

im not looking to replace my grill but I have been shopping around for a front Ranchhand bumber replacement for my 2012 F150FX4. Has anyone else made plans to do this or have you done it already? I would like to see some Pics of it if you have. I would like to do the Rear bumber too but not really sure how it will effect my back up sensors, I know that Ranch hand makes a rear replacement with the sensors but I would really like to see one first hand.

I nwas told that adding a gtille with more than 5% coverage can possibly overheat the turbos for lack of air flow. I drive in some adverse snow conditions & have already had my intake for intercooler pluged half up with ice , snow & slush but no ill effects. has anyone else heard of this or found any good grilles?

Added a lower grill to cover the hole to the intercooler. Grillcraft. Wish I could have found a closer mesh pattern, but this will surely prevent rocks and big bugs from damaging the intercooler. Looks nice also.

Well I think this is what I am going to go with. I got done with measurenments and drafting it up in Mastercam. Hopefully I will get some time on the flowjet to cut it out next week.

What do you guys think? This will be going inside the actual bumper in the middle section. I my number there are 2 slots on the Lower part of the opening with corresponding tabs on top to accept 2 nuts and bolts. After I flowjet it I will bend the tabs to 90 degrees in order to slide it in the opening and to be secured.

Thank you good sir. I am hoping I looks as good once I cut it out. Lol. It was hard to mimic the Ecoboost font but I got pretty darn close. I also separated te Eco and the boost to save space. Then enlarged the logo itself a bit to make it stand out a little more.

Now to figure out steel or aluminum. I will probably powder coat it or jut Duracoat it a flat black. We shall see.

Here is a link to the grill that I have been looking at. Living here in Alaska, I won't have to worry too much about over heating the turbos. I also plan to have the aFe Stage 2 CAI installed before I get it.
