I know this has been covered several times...I have found a lot of info on 2011's and a lot on 2013's. of course, I have a 2012. Do I follow the same procedure on my 2012 as the people with 2011's?

Also, is it ok if I only do the passenger side?

Do I need to do a filter or can I just point that hose downward?

Same as the 11. You don't have to use a filter but you do have to cap the intake where you unplug the tube. It's ok to just do one side if you want. Won't hurt anything.
