Yes it is worth it.
This is not a power adder, as much add it is a power finder. The potential was always there, now it's available through a denser air charge.
Lag is further reduced thanks to less pressure drop across the core.

There was a dodge hemi, next to me in traffic, today,
He had his window barely cracked until he heard my blow off.
Then, he got on his a bit, and tried to goad me into being stupid.
I didn't get a chance to bite, luckily, because of traffic. When I got next to him, his window was now all the way down, and I see an off duty cop giving me the old stink eye...
Admittedly, I was a little nervous, at first, because he got right behind me. But each time the blow off hissed, I cracked a smile.
