Bad Spark Plugs...and Coils???

I don't think that is the point. Sure, I can change all the plugs myself, and although not my preffered way to spend a Saturday afternoon, the real concern is what happens next time it decides to eat another plug 500 miles from home with just my wife, daughter and their horses, at night, on some deserted highway? No, I'm more inclined to trade it in before it happens again.

I am more interested in whether or not if anyone else has had this issue. I wasn't there the first time it happened, but I was the second time and the mechanic knew exactly what was going on before he put it on the computer. However, Ford Corp. people just shrug and tell me it's an anomoly.
Has your wifes truck had the TSB completed for the Charger Air Cooler? Your symptoms in cylinders #4,5 and 6 all seem to coincide with my similar issue. These cylinders lie on Bank #2 which is where the condensation builds up and gets sucked into the engine as a result of the charger air cooler working too efficiently, it's a well documented problem. I had the #5 plug and coil go and it was a direct result of the water sucking in a ton of water on that cylinder. After the TSB it hasn't missed since, I replaced all plugs and boots, only 1 coil on #5.

Thanks qbguy. Is yours an '11? I was told that issue was for older models and not ours.
Yes, mine is a 2011. The plug gap as mentioned is also another issue as when the gap is too big the high cylinder pressures can suppress the spark if it's jumping a big gap. All the cylinders you've had affected are on bank #2 with is the side that sucks in most the condensation so you could have multiple issues going on.
