All that's showing me is that your catch can isn't very effective. I get 3oz after 500-1000 miles out of mine and most of it is crap that you certainly wouldn't want anywhere inside your engine, the crank case included. I've posted plenty of pics of it, I actually just took a video of draining the can today. I'll post it as soon as I can.
Most cans on the market allow more to pass through than they catch, and if it is an Ecoboost, then it is not correcting the PCV flaw so only a fraction of what is being ingested into the crankcase is making it's way to the can....and to date, only the RX system corrects the PCV flaw so all is evacuating to be caught.
Far better to have caught THAT and not have it enter the intake!
