My extended came out and took photos and oil sample. I looked at all the fine print on my coverage.
I bought the highest level which covers almost every part. in the excluded parts it states that aftermarket parts are not covered. But does not state anything about tuning, or anything about aftermarket products voiding the warranty.
The things that will void warranty were, commercial use, towing/ wrecker service, rental, prearranged or organized racing or competitive driving.
If not covered, I am planning to haul it to Livernois for teardown and new rebuild.
I found it interesting that Livernois said an E50 tune is something they do not do on stock injectors or fuel pump.
I have been running E50 for a while. I have not found myself running lean however.

Just heard back from dealer again. Extended warranty company want dealer to pull oil pan and send photos to them.
Of course the charge to pull oil pan is $1075. If warranty covers, then they will cover the $1075 oil pan removal.
If they do not cover, then I have to pay $1075 to remove an oil pan.

The oil was 3 weeks old. I don’t know what they are looking for. Just can’t stomach the thought of spending $1100 for the extended warranty company to decline it.
Drop in the bucket if the claim is denied and a win if the claim is approved sometimes you gotta roll the dice I know it’s a terrible feeling sitting there wondering if it will covered….
