I've looked over on F150Forum.com a bit and there seems to be a recurring theme with the 2018's. None of the 12v plug-in's are constant power. Once you shut the truck off, the plug-in's stay "hot" for a time of 30 minutes to an hour and then shut off...I believe they call it delayed power shut off (or some other fancy term). I would like this to use for my dash cam and just hard wire it with a kit that I can buy off Amazon.
I have seen some people run jumpers in the fuse box but I really would like to avoid doing that at all possible. I ran a piggy back fuse (see below) on my previous truck for my bed lighting...but I can't remember what fuse I may have tapped into. What fuse would have constant 12v power that would not affect the original equipment that I would be piggy-backing off of if there was an issue that arose?
