FYI - Ford will sell an entire harness, but typically they do not offer “pieces” of said harness. You can buy harness kits (as I call them) that have the right connector or, importantly, the right connector metal pins. These often come with one set of wires, all the same color.
So? Well, if I wanted to replace a section of harness that was broke, I would get the whole harness and replace it. I would not try to add on just a section. My preference. To me, it eliminates a lot of potential shorts or bad splices.
Just the way I do.

If you having an issue with one section of the harness, the rest of the harness is pretty worn as well. You can prevent future issues with a new one.

I get what your saying but I'm not having wiring issues anymore, besides to buy a whole harness just to get 2 inch of colored wire probably hundreds of dollars the pig tail that is offered is same part just all green wires, but I get it hopefully mine stays good I also dipped some electric tape glue in the cavity so it will hold wires better non the less I now know where the wires go I am a tool maker not a electrician lol... I also do all my own work my brother in law is a mechanic and never touches my vehicles..
