The black smoke is normal. Mine does it too and I have nearly 35k miles. If you do a google search this is par for the course.

i keep hearing its normal but seems like alot of people doesnt have the smoke.. Just seems strange some do some dont

I have only had the smoke once and it was when I first started it and hit the throttle but other then that I haven't noticed it but it's there cause my exhaust tip is black. But my truck also make a weird pop noise sometime when the high idle kicks off
