I need to replace my Electric power steering rack on my 2011 F150. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience on if there is any chace the 2 types are interchangeable? My truck came with the load leveling tow package (thats what the Ford parts guy calls it) Mastercraft part # STE688. What would happen if I put in the Heavy Duty tow package rack (STE689) instead? I understand I need to "reprogram" either way with forscan to make it work. Does anyone know if I can use the heavy duty version in my truck, or is it a bad idea?
