just replaced my cylinder head temperature sensor below and to the right of my dip stick. This could have been really bad if I wasn’t less than 2 miles from my home. Total false alarm due to the failed sensor. Why would the computer not read the temperature sensor for the coolant under the intake manifold? Sad

I understand, why I reset Code P1299 and replaced the Cylinder head temp sensor C107. My question is if the Engine coolant temperature sensor C1064 exists, why isn’t that used?
