I bought a 2011 eb F150 about a year ago and recently noticed that there are some small holes in the cat and muffler. The holes are perfectly round like they're either supposed to be there or were drilled by the previous owner. They're maybe 1/8" diameter weep holes, one in the front and back of the cat and one in the front of the muffler, all in the same position. I've attached pictures. I tried searching online to see if this is normal, but couldn't find anything relevant. Does anyone else have these holes? If it was the previous owner, why do you think they would do this? I don't have any CEL or abnormal sounds. The truck runs well except for the CAC issue which I will be fixing this week.
