Has any one had or heard of trucks having issues engaging 4x4. I noticed it playing in the mud. Going up a hill it sounded like the driver axle was not fuly engaged and slips. Now that its snowy here in colorado im using the 4wd. After I switch to 4h and under acceleration it makes that same clunk noise shortly after the screen says shift in progress.

my truck will do this from time to time... you kind of just have to wait awhile so if you need it in a hurry you're kind of screwed. i have to wait until the 4x4 light comes on then wait a little longer for it to be in all i also let off when i make the shift

I miss the manual **** transfer cases... I thought I popped a hub one time when I shifted into 4x4 under a slight load at slow speed. no damage.

This is common when you lift/level trucks.

I've put mine in and out of 4HI at 50 mph with no issues. The system works great for me....
