I think aftermarket BOV will hold boost better

I'm might be wrong but i think upgrading the waste gate would improve the boost holding like I said could be wrong

To maintain boost through shift points. trying to keep the turbo spoiled for longer periods of time

Ideally a BOV should hold boost all the way to redline

Waste gate controls the boost of the turbo

BOV needs to hold under boost and release pressure after throttle is released

A boost controller doubles the capacity of the waste gate

I've seen several shops selling the turbo smart devices. I don't have any experience just curious...

I was going to install them but got called into work. Hoping to get it done this weekend.

Just installed Bov. One of the easiest mods to do. All it takes is a long ass set of arms.
First 2 pics. are of the stock BOV. Last ones are of the new Bov installed. The large hole is your BOV vent line. I put the hose back on and left it to vent to atmosphere. All it is three small allen head bolt 5mm. And then tuning to get a smooth engine idle.
