Question has anyone successfully put in a high output alternator and not get that charging system light? I installed one and it’s working fine I just don’t want that light on. Also everyone els I know with similar truck have the same problem

Depending on your trim and engine there may be an OEM alternator with a higher output. I think Lariat and higher come with a higher output.
The charging system light issue is usually a problem with the charging logic being really skimpy on battery charge voltage to save half an ounce of fuel. Once your battery starts to get a little older it will trigger the warning. Mine does it even though my battery cranks the truck no problem.
You could try disconnecting the current sensor on the negative battery terminal and see if that helps. When I tow I usually disconnect it to make sure my trailer battery is getting full voltage.
