The mountain snowflake is better than a regular all terrain and a dedicated winter tire is better yet. Dedicated snow tires aren’t supposed to be run in the summer but all terrains with the mountain snowflake can be run year around. No tire can be worn down to the wear bars and perform well in the winter. Even dedicated winter tires loose most of their performance at 50% tread depth. If your worn past the sipes you’re pretty much done.
