I’m in a similar boat...need new tires and need an A/T. I don’t think I need anything overly aggressive but I do need the mountain snowflake. I drive about 80% road and 20% gravel dirt roads. Happen to live a few miles in on a gravel road that goes through a mountain pass. Snow can be a problem as can mud with heavy rains and spring melt. I like to have confidence in my tires but still want to maintain road drive ability and mpg. Plus...weight is a factor since I do enjoy that rocket boost the 3.5L provides!

Tires I’ve considered...

duratracs - loved them on my Jeep...but mpg and on road drivability will take a hit

falken wildpeaks - similar to duratracs in my opinion but for a way better price

ultraterrains - milder version of the duratracs? Very little info out there on them.

adventure with Kevlar - I like the on road driveability of these but I believe only the heavier LT version has the mountain snowflake symbol. Plus reviews are all over the place with them!

anything is a step-up from the stock h/t tires

I had a terrible experience with BFG A/Ts. Granted they weren’t the KO2 but they wore unevenly (even with regular rotations
), wore way too fast...maybe got 20,000? And we’re absolutely terrible on wet or snowy roads. The KO2 may be better but it just left a sour taste in my mouth. And going from those to the duratracs was just another slap in the face to BFG.
