Just bought a new 13 f150 screw, stilll on my first tank from the dealer, I've always filled my cars with 93 (especially my turbo STi) just wondering who fills with what and if they have feed back thanks
Top tier 93. 2013 f150 ecoboost screw. 17500k tunes since 4k... so far soo good! I will continue to use 93.... I feel the truck runs better on 93 and the computer is designed to see it and account for better gas by adding timing on its on. The little more you pay for 93 is well worth the extra benefits imo
I run BP 87 in mine...converted to 91 for a couple months last summer just to see of my mpg improved...I noticed no difference to that so I sure didn't see it being worth the extra $$$$ to fill my 36 gallon tank each time. So I went back to 87. Never had any problems out of it. The manual says 87 but to use 91 or 93 for optimum performance or under heavy towing.
Cheap 93 for me (Sam's Club / Costco) whenever possible. Saw an average of 1.5 mpg increase over 87. Truck is still breaking-in though so I'm not sure how accurate that is.
