But how in the hell can a passenger in the backseat(supercrew) open the rear door from the inside after the doors have been locked?? So hear me out. I have my locks/unlocks set to "Auto" from the dash menu and it is set on stage one. As I understand it the stages are for how many times you push unlock on the key fob. Stage one you push unlock and all of the doors will unlock. Stage 2 you have to push it twice, the first opens the front doors and the second opens the rears. When my daughter is home from school and riding in the back; once we come to a stop and the truck is turned off the front doors unlock automatically but I have to hit the unlock button on the drivers door so my daughter/rear passengers can get out.
I have read the owners manual and it only talks about the stages to open the door.
I have checked the childproof locks on both rear doors. They operate as they should when locked and unlocked.
I have played with all of the DIC controls that deal with the locks.
Basically I'm stumped.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue?? If so how did you fix it??
