It is cheaper to produce using the factory parts.
They also have to back up the trucks with the warranty. They build them to handle a certain amout of power and then tune them down to make it less likely something will break. Also, emmissions is regulated by the Govt and they tune and part them to meet emmissions requirements. There are also other factors, but these are the main reasons.
