So I am still having trouble with partial engagement of my actuators. I have what I think is a fix, but had some questions. I have a 2014 F150ecoboost crew with the mechanical vacuum pump. I was thinking of just running an electric vacuum pump in line with the mechanical pump but my questions are:
1. How much vacuum is required to keep the actuators unlocked?
2. Can I run an electric pump in line in addition to the mechanical pump or would I need to eLimante the mechanical pump and if so can I just cap it off?
I found an electric pump that simply automatically kicks in when vacuum is less than 15hg with a a maximum vacuum of 20hg. I'm thinking I can just run that in addition to the mechanical pump and I will have plenty of vacuum. Thoughts or problems with doing this?
Thanks!
