Just got home from the track here in Palm Beach PBIR from an open testing tonight. It was a great night with my 17 year old brother running his V6 Mustang and a bunch of other friends around. Now to the good part (at least for me with my current setup that is) ran the truck up and down about 6 times just there mainly to teach my brother and have a good time wasn't looking to set a world record but it was nice to see what the truck could run with my current MPT full race tune and aFe intake. Most of the night my runs were pretty much back to back with very little cooldown timers resulting in times of around 14.4 to 14.6 but I did let it cool down twice for quite a while and the first time with a nice cool down I ran a mid 14.3 after proving to my brother that my truck was faster than his Mustang I let the truck cool down for a good 45 minutes. Decided to do one last run before leaving I was hoping to get in the 14.3 zone again I ended up running a 14.2! Definitely not the fastest EB out there but fast enough and fun enough for me for right now I wish I would have ran it with the stock tune but I was having too much fun. I will post pictures of my time slips all six of them there is one that is bad and that is because I had a really bad start (though I had my best reaction time of the night on this run;)) that I had to let off the throttle completely but no excuses I will post pics of all of them. And also video of the last run taken by a friend in the stands.

I used to love open track nights at the Great Lakes Dragaway up in Wisconsin. I haven't gone in a few years, but always had a great time. Those numbers you put up look pretty darn good for a large truck. With a little practice you could easily get into the 13s.

Yeah I'm hoping so I just need to figure out how to launch it better into will drive so I can get the extra MPH at the top end. I know I could do it I've just been away from the track for over 7 years I used to go all the time and I got pretty good, far from a pro, but I was very consistent with quick reaction times below .2 of a second also I'm hoping for a little bit of a cooler night with a little less humidity. I don't have the exact humidity and temperature from last night but I would say in the beginning of the night it was in the mid high 70s cooling off to the mid low 70s by the end of the night with a fair bit of humidity. At the end I just was there to have fun more than anything but I think I'm addicted again... lol

Actually the launch will affect the time much more than the top end trap speed. Top end trap speed is all about horse power. Pretty good times for a 6,000 lb truck!

Thanks for posting those numbers. Congrats on the good runs. Slips like that would drive me crazy. I'd be trying to perfect my launch and get that 1.95 or better 60' time consistently. I know that wasn't your reason for going to the track....I just know myself.:D

Thank you all I love going to the track. I used to get all crazy about my numbers and trying to get everything down but now I just go for pure fun. Next time I go out there I will take it way more seriously get the consistency numbers down. I will also be taking my Mini Cooper up against my truck on paper only I don't trust anybody driving either one of my cars LOL...

I would love to see other peoples numbers if you have slips that would be great, if not just post up your times that would also be great to see. My goal is to get into the 13s next time I am out at the track we will see...

Awsome times, the more i read on this site the more i want to mod my truck. Get your 60 foots down a little more and i bet you could see some high 13's on a cooler day!

I ran my truck bone stock with 3,000 miles full tank of gas 36 gallons, with me in it it was over 6,000lbs i ran a [email protected]
Ive got a 2012 supercrew Ecoboost with the 6.5 foot box.
